Like the Chinese Pineapple bun, the Hong Kong Mexican bun is a favorite staple at Chinese dim sum. But actually, the bun didn t originate in Mexico but in Hong Kong or Macau by Chinese-Mexicans kicked out of Mexico in the 1930s.
