Comfrey is a perennial herb native to Europe. The plant grows to be about 2-3Â½ feet tall with beautiful, bell-shaped flowers and large leaves. Comfrey normally blooms throughout the summer, with the first flowers opening in late April or early May. Flowers come in blue, pink, purple, or white. Comfrey is not safe for internal use.
