Revenue
sharing at Freerangestock.com:
Photographers
submitting photos to Freerange
Stock can now participate in
our revenue sharing system.
This is implemented through
Google AdSense, and will allow
you to keep 80% of the advertising
revenue generated by your download
pages and your profile pages.
If you don't have an AdSense
account, we can sign you
up for one! Insuring that
you have an AdSense account
is a now a standard part
of our Photographer Signup
process. If
you happen to already have
an AdSense account, we can
seamlessly associate with
our system.
What
is AdSense?
AdSense is Google's system
for serving text and image
ads to content pages or participating
websites. Relevant ads appear
based on Google analysis of
the page - when the ad is clicked,
the user is directed to the
advertisers site, and the site
on which the ad appeared receives
a referral payment. Portions
of the AdSense infrastructure
have been integrated into the
Freerange Stock site, allowing
us to create AdSense accounts
for our photographers, serve
ads that benefit the photographer's
account, and supply AdSense
reports from the photographer
account administration area.
Complete details about AdSense
can be found at Google's
main AdSense page.
How does it work?
All you have to do is signup
and upload your photos.
We handle the rest. Your account signup and images will be reviewed by Freerange
Stock and Google - once approved, ads will appear on your image download pages
and your profile pages. Google handles all of the administration
of the advertising and pays you directly
for
the
revenue
you generate. If you choose to create a new account, Google will send you
information to complete the account-creation process. If you are associating
your existing AdSense account, ads tied to your account will start appearing
with your submissions nearly instantly.
How could this make me money?
Up to three AdSense ad areas appear
on each page - we try not to
let advertising content overwhelm
your lovely images. When users
click on any of the ads on
your pages, Google pays 80% the revenue
from that click to your AdSense
account (the other 20% goes
to Freerange). Google also
places CPM ads that pay just
for displaying. You get paid
by Google based on Google's
AdSense payout policy. This
and other AdSense issues are
outlined in the AdSense
Help Center.
